Welcome to the "Kinderecke" (Children's Corner)
Lots of fun activities are planned for children ages 2-14 years.
Look for DeeJay the Clown and the Shriner’s Clowns greeting families Friday and Saturday.
The Kinderecke will be divided up into activity areas: carnival games, pumpkin decorating and a craft corner. Face painting will also take place on Saturday. Look for the times posted in the Kinderecke.
Cost for all Kinderecke events:
- 1 ticket for all activities
- pumpkin decorating = 2 tickets
- face painting is a free event
Tickets can be purchased with tokens at the Kinderecke entrance. 1 token = 2 tickets. Look for token booths at the Oktoberfest Event entrance.

Pumpkins will be available for decorating. Families will also be encouraged to decorate as many lunch bags as they can to support "http://www.kidsfoodbasket.org" target="_blank">"Kids Food Basket" in their efforts to ensure that children in our community don't go to bed hungry.
Cost for one pumpkin = 2 tickets
"Kulturecke" (Culture Corner)

Children will be introduced to German Culture through a variety of craft activities that they can make.
- Paper Crafts (alpine hats, eagle puppets and pinwheels)
- Lebkucken Hearts (painting traditional “gingerbread hearts)
- Braided Crowns & Wooden Tops (children can braid ribbons into crowns or paint wooden tops)
Cost per craft = 1 ticket
