OKTOBERFEST WEST MICHIGAN VOLUNTEER FORM

  • Date & Location: 22nd thru 25th, September 2011 at the John Ball Park.
  • Who can volunteer:
    • Beverage Servers must be at least 21 years of age.
    • Children’s area from 12 years of age.
    • All other areas at least 18 years of age

  • Volunteers will receive a “Volunteer Appreciation Coupon” which may be redeemed for 6 tokens or a T Shirt.

How to volunteer:

Fill out the form below with any required fields as well as the times and areas you would like to volunteer. *Please note to only select the time slots and areas you can volunteer within. We expect that you would like to work all of the time slots you elect. Once you have completed your information and schedule, click on the submit form to Oktoberfest button to send the volunteer information to Oktoberfest West Michigan. One form per volunteer. During the week prior to the event, you will receive email(s) to the email address provided with confirmation of your schedule(s) along with further directions for the day of the event.

VOLUNTEER WORK AREAS (Please select all that apply)

Beer Tent Volunteers - will be assisting Oktoberfest guests by pouring either draft beer, bottle beers or wine and collecting payment (tokens) behind the bar in the beer tent.

Food Tent Volunteers - will be helping out in the food tent by keeping the area clean. This will include wiping down tables and removing garbage left behind on the tables.

Security Volunteers - will be helping monitor the event to ensure the safety of Oktoberfest guests. They will not be responsible for disciplinary action. Rather, they would assist in calling the appropriate authorities if a situation were to arise. Please note that there will be a security supervisor on site at all times for further assistance.

Any Area Volunteers - may be placed in the above mentioned areas that are in need of further assistance. They may also be asked to help out at the Volunteer Check-In, or other various areas within the event that are in need additional assistance. We encourage and appreciate anyone willing to sign up for any area, as it allows us to ensure all areas have the amount of volunteers needed for the event to run smoothly.
